Baking: Monkey Bread

My mom has been baking Monkey Bread for a long time. This week we made dessert for our homeschool group and this is what we picked. It is fun to make. My younger brother and sister helped  and really liked rolling the dough balls in the cinnmamon-sugar.

Monkey Bread
2 (10 oz.) tubes of canned biscuits (depending on the brand you may need more so have an extra tube of them if possible)
1/2 cup sugar (or sweetener)
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2-3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Cut each biscuit into fourths and roll each piece in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place in greased bundt pan. Sprinkle in nuts as you add the biscuit pieces, if you'd like. Combine the brown sugar and margarine; heat until the margarine is melted and brown sugar is dissolved. Pour over top of the biscuit pieces Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes or until done. (Do not overcook.) Cool slightly and invert on plate.
We also made one with apple pieces and raisins. It was very good!
